- Kids’ Stuff offers the following programs to support your child in finding activities suitable to their tastes, and promote teamwork and positive socialization.
The following specials are provided as an integrated part of your child’s academic day, and are included as part of your child’s yearly Enrichment/Activity Fee.
TECHNOLOGY/DIGITAL EDUCATION (VPK & PRIMARY)
Digital Education is introduced through a technology-based software program created to enhance literacy skills at Leveled Instruction. Little Techs is a weekly VPK & PRIMARY program that exposes your child to an enriched technology curriculum through the use of iPads. Each child is challenged by leveled work through concepts in math, geography, literacy, and science. The Little Techs program enhances the age-appropriate progress of students in attaining the state-adopted performance standards, and helps prepare students for the following grade level based on Florida State Learning Standards.
Little Techs is also offered as an enrichment to Kids’ Stuff students in our 3 hour only free VPK program for additional fees.
Music is integrated into each childcare, preschool & primary classes for 30 minutes once per week on Tuesday or Wednesday. Our Music Director, Mrs. Christine Van Horn, with Pre-School Notes, has joined Kids' Stuff to share her love for children and teaching music. Mrs. Christine offers a unique program that introduces music skills and concepts through various hands-on activities, including instruments, singing and body movements that expose children to creativity, self expression and cognitive growth.
The first Friday of every month, during the school year, Kids’ Stuff has a day of recognition for our students and our beloved country. Mrs. Christine teaches students one patriotic song each month in music class to perform on Spirit Day. All students are encouraged to wear patriotic colors - red, white, and blue.
